The BikUp commission
Signing up to BikUp is free, but running the platform involves costs (hosting, accounting, moderation costs, …). To operate, BikUp takes a 5% commission on your rentals.
How much will you earn per rental?
When you publish your listing, you set a rental price per day. For each rental, BikUp takes a 5% commission to cover running costs.
So if you've listed your bike at €20 per day and you have a 5-day rental, you'll receive €95. Earnings = €20 x 5 days x (1-0.05) = €95
How do I enter my bank details?
Set up your Stripe account (only once)
Payments on BikUp are handled by our partner Stripe. BikUp does not store your bank details.
When?
When you receive your very first booking request, a window invites you to create your Stripe account. It takes about 2 minutes. You can also do it in advance from the Payments tab.
How?
Click on Set up Stripe & continue.
Enter your details, then confirm your phone number.
Answer the few questions. Are you a private individual? Choose “type to be confirmed”.
Enter your IBAN and double-check it to avoid mistakes.
You're redirected to BikUp to accept the booking.
That's it: you won't have to do it again!
When will I receive my money?
The renter pays for the rental on BikUp. 4 days after the end of the rental, if no problem has been reported, the transfer to your bank account is triggered automatically. Then allow a few working days depending on your bank. You can find your transfer history in the Payments tab.
My transfer hasn't arrived
If an incident or dispute has been reported, the transfer is suspended until it's resolved. Otherwise, if you haven't received anything 7 working days after the transfer date, write to support@bikup.app stating your name, the booking reference and the amount.

Your financial data is sensitive. To keep it safe, don't share it:
- outside the platform
- on BikUp messaging.
