The BikUp commission

Signing up on BikUp is free, but it involves operating costs (hosting, accounting, moderation-related expenses, etc.). To operate, BikUp charges a 5% commission on your rentals.

How much will you earn per rental?

When publishing your listing, you set a daily rental price. For each rental, BikUp takes a 5% commission to cover operating costs.

For example, if you list your bike at €20 per day and it’s rented for 5 days, you will receive €95.
Earnings = €20 × 5 days × (1 − 0.05) = €95

How do I enter my bank details?

If you’ve already set up your bank details, go directly to the next section. Otherwise, follow the steps below.

Go to the Payments tab in your account: click here

Have completed your profile: here

If you’ve published a listing and completed your profile, you should see:

Click “Manage my bank details”

You will be redirected to our partner Stripe, which handles payments.

2.2 Click “Submit”
2.3 Confirm your phone number on the next step

Are you an individual? Choose “Sole proprietor” as the business type.

Enter your bank details

Make sure to double-check your IBAN to avoid errors.

Validation ✅

Once this step is completed, you will be redirected back to BikUp. Log in again and that’s it—your account setup is complete.

Requesting a payout

Go to the Payments tab of your account: here

Prerequisites:

Have published a listing: here
Have completed your profile: here
Have set up your bank details (previous section)
Have completed a rental
Your rental earnings are credited 4 days after the last day of the rental to your BikUp wallet.

If your bank details are set up and a rental ended more than 4 days ago, you should see a screen like this: here.

Click Request a payment

Select the rentals eligible for a transfer to your bank account. You will receive the funds within 7 business days.

If after one week you have not received your payment, please email us at support@bikup.app with:

your first and last name
the payment number
the payment amount

Your financial data is sensitive. To keep it safe, never share it:

outside the platform
via BikUp messaging.

If a user asks you for this information, do not share it and report it immediately to
moderation@bikup.app.
