Signing up on BikUp is free, but it involves operating costs (hosting, accounting, moderation-related expenses, etc.). To operate, BikUp charges a 5% commission on your rentals.
When publishing your listing, you set a daily rental price. For each rental, BikUp takes a 5% commission to cover operating costs.
For example, if you list your bike at €20 per day and it’s rented for 5 days, you will receive €95.
Earnings = €20 × 5 days × (1 − 0.05) = €95
If you’ve already set up your bank details, go directly to the next section. Otherwise, follow the steps below.
If you’ve published a listing and completed your profile, you should see:

You will be redirected to our partner Stripe, which handles payments.

Are you an individual? Choose “Sole proprietor” as the business type.

Make sure to double-check your IBAN to avoid errors.

Once this step is completed, you will be redirected back to BikUp. Log in again and that’s it—your account setup is complete.

Select the rentals eligible for a transfer to your bank account. You will receive the funds within 7 business days.
