Message moderation

Messages exchanged via BikUp messaging are only accessible to the users concerned.

In exceptional cases, BikUp may need to access certain exchanges between users, in particular to:

• prevent or detect fraud attempts,
• assist users in the event of a dispute or report,
• identify inappropriate behaviour,
• check compliance with the general terms of use.

Such access is strictly controlled, occasional and justified.
It is never carried out for commercial or marketing purposes.

BikUp is committed to preserving, as far as possible, the confidentiality of the personal data and exchanges of its users.

Review moderation

At the end of each rental, the owner and the renter are invited to leave a review of their experience.

These reviews are subject to post-publication moderation and may be deleted or hidden if they:

• contain insulting, defamatory or discriminatory language,
• have nothing to do with the rental experience,
• disclose personal information,
• breach the platform's terms of use.

BikUp does not change the content of reviews, but makes sure they remain
useful, honest and respectful, in the interest of the whole community.
