Which documents are needed to rent a bike?
For a worry-free rental, we advise owners to:
- sign a rental agreement with you,
- ask you for a copy of your ID document,
- ask for a deposit (usually in the form of an uncashed cheque).
These steps help secure the rental for both parties.
Do I need my own lock and helmet?
Each owner specifies the accessories provided with the bike in the listing description.
- A lock is often included in the rental.
- A helmet, on the other hand, is provided less often.
In any case, we recommend chatting with the owner before the rental via BikUp messaging to confirm the equipment available.
